About Me

Hi! I’m using this space to share my notes and thoughts about design, sustainability, climate change, creative city, creative economy, and sometimes also graphic diary and students’ projects – basically anything that comes to mind at certain moments, when I have the time to write (which, unfortunately, not as much as I want).

The posts are in English and Indonesian, and I suppose the translation engine on the Internet does its job quite well, so hopefully you can enjoy reading them in your preferred language.

A bit about me: I’m a product designer, studied in ITB, Design Academy Eindhoven, and Delft University of Technology, I currently work at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, as a lecturer & researcher. I’m a co-founder and the former chair of Bandung Creative City Forum (BCCF), co-founder and the current Executive Committee of Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN), and I have been the Focal Point of Bandung City of Design, UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) since 2015. I’m also an honorary member of The Indonesia Young Academy of Science (Akademi Ilmuwan Muda Indonesia/ALMI), and member of The Indonesian Academy of Sciences (Akademi Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia/AIPI). I’m a Climate Leader of The Climate Reality Project Indonesia (TCRPI), a member of Global Creative Economy Council (previously the International Advisory Council for Creative Industry Policy and Evidence Centre/PEC, UK), and sometimes I make and publish my graphic diary/travelogue.

I’m also on Twitter and Instagram: @larasatita and LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/titalarasati/
